I taught at Columbus Grove School for 32 years and then retired. The next school year I found myself at St. Gerard which now makes 10 years here. Most of my teaching career has been in the fourth grade. I’m excited to move to fifth grade. I knew when I was in second grade I wanted to be a teacher. I tell my students to find a job they love and they will be like me—never working a day in their life!

I have 2 grown up sons that have a family of their own. Brock is assistant principal at Shawnee high school and Shay lives in Nashville doing computer work.
