Hello, I am Mr. Julian Henderson! This is my first year with St. Gerard as Dean of Students. I am both thankful and excited to be able to be working with your families, students, and the St. Gerard staff! I completed my undergrad work at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. I have 8 years of educational field experience, spanning from Mansfield City Schools, Foundation Academy (Mansfield, OH), Lima City Schools, and St. Rose Catholic School. 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children. We currently have one son and one daughter. We enjoy spending time with grandparents and great-grandparents, playing board games, sharing meals, spending time outside, and of couse, attending sporting events! I have also been blessed to have been able to coach high school basketball for the last 8 years as well. I currently coach on the High School Boys’ Basketball staff at LCC. 

My philosophy is simple. I believe in meeting students and families where they are, finding a way to teach accountability, emotional regulation, and to extend as much grace as possible.
