Originally from Michigan, Austin moved to Ohio to pursue his music and education career.  During his time at Ohio Northern University he had the opportunity to perform trombone all over. He’s played in musicals, professional orchestras (The Lima Symphony Orchestra to be specific), and even jazz down in New Orleans. Performing is a huge part of his life, almost as much as teaching.

He is currently heading into his second year here at all of the Lima Catholic Community schools for band 5-12. He is a huge advocate for the programs we hold here and love to see students flourish in their music, life, and spirituality.
