My name is Julie Bourk Duffy. I teach First Grade at St. Gerard School.
I am a graduate of St. Gerard Elementary School, Lima Central Catholic High School, and Bowling Green State University.
I began my career in 1981 after a life long dream of becoming a teacher. I had the opportunity to substitute in many schools in the area. (St. Gerard being my favorite.) I was offered a job as the Physical Eucation Instructor midway through that school year and have been here ever since. I began teaching First Grade in 1983.
I am married to Brian Duffy and we have four beautiful children. I am very proud to say all four have graduated from St. Gerard School
I feel very blessed that I was born with a very genuine love for children and have had the opportunity to teach so many.
